Neptune's Sea

October 11, 2008

Love is a sea
Upon which Neptune's storms
Do rein

Lovers are tossed and turned
Till Cupid does take them

To another, calmer sea
On which they rest
Till tossed back into
The storm

Yet some
The lucky few
Are washed onto Venus' beach

Where there they
Feast on the fruits
Of the sea

This is my first endeavor into this style of poetry, so I'm not sure about it. The poem its self is supposed to chronicle the path of a lover.
