Curse of the Stepped on Shoe
Step on my shoe
I won’t turn around.
Step on my foot
I won’t make a sound.
Every day someone steps on my shoe
Every day it is someone newer and new.
My sandal falls off
I have to back track
It could be from you
Or Rachel or Zach.
The pain, I can’t stand it
In between my toes.
You don’t understand it,
Nobody knows.
For you it happens once,
Or twice in a while.
It doesn’t affect your feet
Or your lovely white smile.
For me it is every day
I am forced to live this very way.
A curse put on me upon my birth
Every day that I live on this planet Earth.
