Horrors

October 9, 2008
By Anonymous

My eyes have seen,
Countless horrors.
Now, every night I come home,
A monotone, a robot.
Deppresion.
Each dusk I fall, A trench gapes beneath me,
Swallows me up.
There is no longer a difference
Between up or down.
I fall, a bottomless pit around me.
I now know how
The falling stars feel.
An abyss of despair,
Awave of numbness,
Washes over me.
My eyes have seen countless horrors.
The horrors of homework.

I was inspired to begin writing, because I read exessively. It made me want to write my own poems, and stories, so others could share my joy in reading.
