Star Boy
A star he was, and for her
He shone
He burned
He gleamed
Staring down, with heart heavy
He groaned
He yearned
He dreamed
And she stared back with eyes
That hid a mischievous spark
A passion placed from birth
For the foreign and dark
He thought it unto he
For which she cast her gaze
But she’s infatuated with the moon
That veils her empty days
