Who decided to run away

I guess the life got too hard
And he had nothing left to guard
He got sucked into his imagination
Hoping to enter the world of his creation
He left the world in his closet
With not even a note in his pocket
He sent a message to the world
That was more valuable than gold
And now he is gone
Forever done
Yet it still feels like he is here
But now with no fear
The legacy of his name still carries on
Burning brighter than the sun at dawn
