“Wednesdays are limbo days. Monday is the beginning of the week, Tuesday is getting used to it, Thursday is looking forward to Friday and Friday is getting ready for the weekend. Wednesdays aren’t really anything in particular. They’re just there.”

The future unknown is a door

Behind which we may not look

The future unknown is a veil

Through which we may not view

The future unknown is a hill

Over which we may not see

The future unknown lies a misty, bending path before unsure feet

The future unknown is our eyes shut tight, we may not peek

The future unknown is a dragon across the mountain, a river around

the bend

The future unknown is a thought transcend

We wish a glimpse. We wish to peek.

What we do, to whom we speak.

But what would happen if we could see?

That day would live in infamy.

Wow. I really like this. I have thought about the prospect of seeing the future many a time. This explores a topic rarely seen in poetry. I love this.

Thank you! I wasn't sure about that line but I guess it's ok!

I loved the line "the future unknown is a thought transcend"- that's really a great comparison. Overall, I thought this was really good. It had a nice rhythym to it, and the reption worked well. Besides from that though, it explored an interesting topic, and the last line poses a great thought about it we could see the future. Great job!

I love how you build an uncertainty throughout the poem of the Great Unknown as I refer to the Future. Last line is epic, not gonna lie. 5 stars from me.
