see something in the sky,
times are getting older
and we aren't getting wiser,
so what's changing now,
when it's all the same
up in that same old sky.
truth means self-worth
and love is only shelter,
we evolve in the way our minds are,
pain is nothing but the way we interpret ourselves,
joy is music to our ears,
we're admiring the strange ways of how we've become,
taking full advantage of each other,
only hoping to be remembered
by those you'll never know.
