What Happened,
To the slimy green toad?
What Happened,
To the girl down the road?
The Toad’s dead,
The girl’s in bed.
Dreaming of what they did.
What Happened,
To my old best friend?
What Happens,
To letters I send?
Best friend’s moved,
The letters are too.
All that is one big bid.
All these,
Sad stories die away
What Happened,
Will never stay the same.
