Dance with Myself
I twirl in the rain, as I dance with myself.
No need of a partner, the showers cascading through my hair and down my back are enough.
My head twirls in a fog, as I dance with myself.
No need of a partner, the pounding of my brain and the blockage up my nose are enough.
My thoughts twirl through my dreams, as I dance with myself.
No need of a partner, the mist flowing across my closed eyelids is enough.
My pen twirls across the page, as I dance with myself.
No need of a partner, the ink trailing behind the words of truth and hope are indeed the greatest of dancers.
And it is enough.
