You don’t need a patent
To stop yourself
From being sold
On a shelf.
There is someone,
Weird as it seems,
Who wants to buy you
Along with your dreams.
You need to stand firm,
But please understand,
That does not mean
You need feet to stand.
All you need is a heart,
All you need is a mind,
All you need to be
Is one of a kind.
Don’t be conceited,
Don’t be a door mat,
Be who you are,
For you’re great like that.
