Forever Hers
Eyes are swollen
Tears are dried
You are gone
And she’s alive
Walking through the days withdrawn
Her life is like the living dawn
I see her eyes
Full of tears
Her one and only love disappeared.
Her heart has sunk so low
And her eyes are hard as stone
Her blue eyes have turned to grey
All that she loves has been stolen away
Her heart is broken
Her life is torn
Now all she has is a love to mourn
And in the night
She may shed a tear
But all the guilt
Soon will be clear
He is now with her and by her side
To show her life’s path as her guide
He will be there till the end
Kissing her every day
She has a man that loves her dear
And forever he will be near
