Atheism
I'm not a proselyte, not a missionary,
And I'll never be a deacon.
Of Holy Books, and sacred rites, I'm wary,
And church makes my heart weaken.
The lack of logic and missing reason,
Turns my heathen heart away.
In science and poetry lies my passion:
Deep in my brain my soul will stay.
Our world has so much hope without a magical man in the sky...
I too look forward to eternal peace, and solace when I die.
