As I walk beside a stream
In a meadow, I spy a gleam
I follow the faint glow
Anxious to see what it might show
I find abandoned, yesterday’s dream
Fell from the heavens, it once beamed
Thrown away once too high
It must have sobbed, its end was nigh
In a meadow, beside a stream
I bury it there, yesterday’s dream
