Take Me Away

I take a step,
out my door,
and let my bare feet tingle as they brush the warm concrete.
The sun instantly gives me a hug,
wrapping my soft skin in a cloak of pure joy.
I smile as I exit the dark void, letting my teethh gleam in the light.
I take a step, and I'm off in flight,
letting the sun bask me in it's delightful warmth.
