Fatherly Love Rondeau
Be who I need you to be.
Predictable as an aging tree.
Never faltering, gentle in fight,
just to whom is known as right.
Favoring instead, for me to be free.
Although you are not who I would see.
Trapping me and throwing away the key.
Bound forever in an unrelenting night.
Be who I need you to be.
Pain, control bring you utmost glee.
Smiling as I cower on my knees.
Blows raining down with all your might.
Some of them which are hidden from sight.
Leaving me with no choice but to flee.
Who do I need you to be?
