It's been a long while since I last saw you
Last danced with you, laughed with you, smiled with you
Last embraced you, hugged you, tugged at your hair
A while since I talked to the moon with you
It's been a long while since I last saw you
Last danced or laughed or smiled or embraced or
Hugged someone or tugged at somebody's hair
Now all I can do is talk to the moon
It's been a long while since I last saw you
Or needed your smile or laugh to get through
Each and every day, because let's be true
I've never absolutely needed you
Now I'm not sure if I even want you
But even now, I still talk to the moon
