Christmas Day
Christmas Day,
we Should mourn with solemn sadness,
over the death of one sewn from omnipotent fabric.
Instead we welcome society's ungrateful sanction.
Over a God cast down for heretical quack-
But the quack had conciliated-
Once he could no longer come back.
Now we drink and unwrap-
We cackle and fold.
Ignore the Father upstairs-
Just to look bold.
A part of Gold, a parcel of silver.
Our lives quiver like trees-
In unending winter.
But sunshine--it's near!
To suckle winter from tears.
Crack your cocoon-
Absolve your fears.
Christmas Day.
