It does tell stories of all,
painted by battle-weary hands.
All around, it is called Graffiti Wall.

On a building so grand and tall,
are legends that transcend the land.
It does tell stories of all,

That colorful and open alley hall,
(though some would like it bland).
All around, it is called Graffiti Wall.

Many dread the day it falls,
turning hidden hardships into sand.
It does tell stories of all,

And for it, masses would brawl.
This mere wall, paintings unplanned.
All around, it is called Graffiti Wall.

"A waste of space." say the minds that're small.
When in fact, it is real and
It does tell stories of all.
All around, it is called Graffiti Wall.

This poem is a villanelle, like the poem 'Do not go gentle into that good night'. Please rate and comment! :D

wow! Im glad someone else thinks graffiti is the art of the masses. Maybe work on some words to make it flow easier but I really enjoyed this poem and your perspective
