"There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends." - Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Tell me about
the Jellicoe Road
Where poppies bloom
and children grow
Where secrets dwell
and everyone knows

Where our mothers
fell in love
With angels in cars
crash-landed from above

Where young blood is shed
for a few bike trails
And mixes with poppies
and dead parents’ tales

Tell me about
the Jellicoe Road
Where enemies come
but true lovers go

Don’t let me forget,
and promise me yet

That you’ll come back for me

On the Jellicoe Road.

People need dreams, there's as much nourishment in 'em as food.
--Dorothy Gilman

If there is such a thing as truth, it is as intricate and hidden as a crown of feathers.
--Isaac Bashevis Singer

Lovely and nostalgic...
