Through my eyes
Through my eyes I see a situation
Through her eyes she sees the past
Through my eyes I see redemption, the kind that never last.
Your eyes can see right past me
Through my heart made of glass
My eyes are filled with sorrow
From pain that doesn't pass
My confusion steadily increasing
From something that I cannot grasp
My eyes consumed by anger
A disturbance that continues to last.
As my eyes begin to clear
Your eyes continue to shine
Blocking the emotions that binds me
I realize you’re not mine
Happiness is just a feeling that compresses my mind
A feeling that divides me and leaves part of me behind
Eyes that control me
Eyes that keep me weak
Eyes that pierce through my glass heart
Takes everything I was meant to keep.
