Snowfall
I look around and see the snow fall,
there is no sign of anyone else at all.
The air is crisp, and I can see my breath,
if I stay out too long, it could cause my death.
The ground is covered with a thin layer of snow,
the moon is set in the sky, very low.
The streetlights are lit, up and down the block.
Suddenly I hear someone talk.
The temperature is five below zero,
soon someone will arrive and be my hero.
The car pulls in, and I quickly get in.
I'm going home for the night, once again.
