Beautiful...
Beautiful.
What does that word even mean any more?
Is it the birth of a child after a war
Or a couple making love in the back of a car?
Is it a woman’s face when she’s in love
Or a man’s pride being dropped for his wife?
Is it family…
friends…
Or just the memories we make with them?
Does beauty come from snow falling gracefully
Or rainy nights in a bright city
Is a beautiful person beautiful because of their..
Eyes…
Lips…
Smile…
Body…
Personality…
Or is it the combination of everything?
Can a man be more beautiful than a woman?
Can a woman be more beautiful than the moon?
Can sunrise, rise over sunset in its beauty?
Or is it just the enjoyment of life?
But death?
Can’t it be beautiful too
When someone in pain finally let’s go
Or it brings a family together for grandma’s last show
What is beautiful to the world I may never know
But to me…
Its small things we don’t bother to see
That shows true beauty

I like this poem, it makes me really think about what I consider to be beauty... something I've never really done before. I love the end of it and there were a couple of other lines that were amazing to me, too.
Check out my work if you have the chance?
