Waiting on a Miracle
You fit next to me
Like orange beside blue
It works, and it’s striking
But only in certain shades.
When God’s not to our liking
We clash, we twist, we fade.
Koalas and polar bears
Would never naturally meet.
How could they ever share
One love, bitter or sweet?
It would take a miracle.
