Pigment of the Heart
The Starving Artist paints,
She Paints with scarlet red blood of her aching heart,
She Paints with roaring blue water falls of her tears,
She Paints with the pastel gray luster of her bland wearied eyes,
She Paints with black sorrowed darkness in her mentality,
She Paints with the tired hands that sways across her masterpiece, as she puts her final touches upon it.
She lost the life in the painting, the mother that will always be in her heart.
She found life in her painting, she found love and memories in her art.
