Young and Alone

So young so alone
She is anything but unknown
The truth that she is holding back
Is the knowledge that they lack
She tries to find a voice within
To tell her that she doesn’t need him
She can stand on her own two feet
But she feels like she has suffered a great defeat
Her strength is great in the crowd she stands
But still she just doesn’t understand
A life in solitude is the one she lives
And this is because she has nothing else to give
