I can’t create completely new worlds out of thin air
I’m not a poet
I can’t make the most ordinary flower become extraordinary
I’m not an artist
I can’t look beyond what I’ve already preconceived
I’m not a public speaker
I can’t make people believe every word I say
I’m not a dancer
I can’t express my feelings through the movements of my body
I can’t do any of this
I can’t write a story or poem
I can’t draw or speak or even dance
I’m just a high school girl
Who has way too many opinions
On way too many things
and is not afraid to shout them out
