Invisible Girl
Nobody sees me when I'm smiling.
They only see me when I cry.
If I laugh, I am ignored.
No one will look me in the eye...
I try to make a change,
But nobody can see
That what's changing isn't worth it
If I can't really be me...
I can try to fit in for a change,
I can try to let go and smile,
But even if they notice me,
The looks fade after a while...
So I'll stand in the corner
And pretend that I'm not there.
I think I'd rather be invisible
Than have everybody stare...
