The memories of all the people I once knew float around
While I sit here hopelessly on the ground
The things that used to be important now just take up space
Even the greatest lawyer couldn’t win my case
So I sit here with all my luck and lace
Hoping to make them proud
When all I will ever be is loud
But no one will ever listen to me
And I can’t even hope to be
With the ghost of everyone I ever loved haunting me
