I used to think I wasn’t important

But now I know I am

I always thought that happiness would last

But I never realized it would soon cease

I once felt un-loved But now I know that I am

If I could have one wish

I would re-wind time to undo my mistakes

I never thought my heart could break into so many pieces

But I might find some way to mend it back together again

I can’t see better days

But I can sense there soon on their way

But I might take this time to try to fix them

I used to think you had to look for love
