Make Me Smile
I remember when we were little
We use to play monkey in the middle
We could always play
We would stay out all day,
I once called you my teddy bear
I didn't know if you would care,
I wouldn't admit I had a crush
I was little and in no rush,
I wasn't in a rush for love.
We always had a great time
And so I made up this little rhyme,
It goes like this,
I always thought I'd be with you
We'd be the perfect two,
I had no clue, I was just a girl
now my world spins and twirls,
I know you can always make me smile
so while I stop and think a while,
I only wanted to say one more thing
Thank you for being there.
