Looking Down On Your Grave
On top of that cloud,
Is where you choose to sit,
I’m cool with that,
Even though you’re my big sis,
I know you are watching over me,
But I wish you could have stayed,
Why did god have to remove you?
In such a horrible way,
Sure there are some days I wish you were here,
Even to wish you a Happy New Year,
I never even got to meet you,
As you were gone before I was here,
I get that you had Down syndrome,
But that didn’t mean you couldn’t stay,
I would’ve accepted you either way,
And what about Louise,
Is she good company?
She was gone before you,
She didn’t even make it out of the womb,
Dead before she was even born,
I guess you could say she was a still born,
I suppose I’ll see you both one day,
This time it won’t be looking down on your grave.
