My Point of View
You came toward me
As happy as I had ever seen
It had been so long,
Since I’d seen your face
But every following day,
I would be blessed with your grace
As the first day began
You were like I remembered
T-shirt and sweat shorts
With adventurous dirt on your hand
As the year went on
You began to change
With all the new things that were brought
Clothes, hair, cliques
Makeup and flowers
But sometimes you were as I remembered
With the same funny power
You came to me,
Like I knew
But now you leave
All brand knew
But no matter what
I’ll always love you
