Confused Star
What if a star didn’t want to be a star?
Because everything else felt too far?
What if it didn’t want to be a glow-in –the-night?
Maybe it wanted to be seen in times of light
What if it didn’t want to grant your wish?
But just wanted to become a starfish
Maybe it doesn’t want to be a ball of gasses,
Doesn’t want to sit and watch as the millennium passes
Would it want to travel from planet to planet?
See how the other galaxies all seem to fit?
Maybe it would want to become something like you or me
Finally be able to touch, taste, and see
On this subject I would be naive
For this point-of-view, I simply try to perceive.
