A Nighttime Story
It’s a maze of confusion, of uncertainty, of disorder.
The pieces are jumbled and a mix from other boxes,
And thus cannot be solved.
The story before me has all the pages unorganized,
So the story is destroyed.
Events surprise the adventurer as they go along,
For they are not in control.
Happiness and sunshine follow death,
While romance and love trail after tragedy.
The insanity, the lunacy, the madness are never ending,
Until that final moment when the body is ready.
The adventurer’s story has ended for the night,
And the eyes slowly open back to reality.
