It happens on the stairs
It happens on the stairs,
And nobody really cares
They exchange a kiss
That’s hard to miss
I avert my eyes
And tell myself lies
I see the other
holding another
closer like no other
A new crack
Like a broken back
Across my heart
Penetrating like a searing dart
My heart Crumbles
I see that boy standing there
He always stares
His eyes fill with bliss
Every time he sees me, but I am amiss
He flirts and shows it, that he likes me
And he is practically on bended knee
My heart feels jumpy and rapidly beats
As our eyes meet, our hearts exchange several beats
He must like me
For he wouldn’t care so for me
If he did not
I know I should not
But I think I like him too
My heart crumbles
