Peyton
I've never believed in love at first sight,
until the first time I saw that three year old grin.
Smooth head and blue eyes shining bright.
He's had a hold on my heart since then.
When I have days I feel the world is out to get me,
He puts a smile on my face even when his pain is plain to see.
Not a day of his life is easy,
but that little boy is stronger than I'll ever be.
Peyton has showed me the many ways I am truly blessed.
What I take for granted he takes to the fullest.
Opening my eyes to the things I've so easily missed.
His light shines through always showing the best.
In his day to day struggle the battle rages on.
If he is scared he is the last to show.
Someday I hope his war is won.
Until then he's the bravest person I know.
