Scribbler
She is the girl who is lost
in her hair
scribbling madly in her notebook
pen clutched around her hand like a lover holds his love
walking fast
thinking intensly
heart fluttering
dreaming immensly
every little thing has a tale
to her
and every big thing
is in need of dissection
illustrations, doodles,
pretty words, ugly words
dancing together like
red and orange in a flame
fingers aching, ink finishing
but still she clutches the pen
like a lover holds his love.
She scribbles.
