Last Breath
Hasn’t been three days since I left your side
My feelings for you won’t ever die.
I didn’t think it would hurt so much.
I just wish I could rid myself of this fuss.
Don’t look at me with those accusing eyes.
Please don’t say goodbye.
Remember the time we buried our feet in the sand?
You said it was okay to take your hand.
Although I was scared I felt the trust.
So, why is leaving me now a must?
You said you’ll always believe me.
That’s all lies is what I see.
The minute you saw the knife
You immediately shot me out of your life.
You accused me of harming her.
What happened next was a blur.
You didn’t listen to my story.
Your eyes were full of worry.
Not for me
But for She
I shed so many tears.
Soon anger replaced my fears.
So I wrote this to tell you
I loved you, it’s true
But you didn’t care for me
So why don’t you run back to she?
Don’t regret your choice
Because soon I won’t have a voice.
