"Chaos, disaster, and disorder-My work here is done." --Mr. Fontes

I came upon a rotting gallows
On the night of eve of hollows
Where from the rope old bones swung
That a sad song sung

Heart-breaking, great lament
Shedding tears left unspent
For I felt the bones' sorrow
And lack of bright tomorrow

Slowly up, amid board creaks
Lost soul for comfort seeks
I climb to make my offer
To set it free so it won't suffer

It asked me, who was I
To care for bones gone dry
That life long abandoned
And with only sadness bonded

Said I, a boy love left behind
And only in memories can find
The time of happy days
Now living a life of grays

The rope I caught and severed
And with eternal grin was favored
Bones caught the silver moon light
And laughed their great delight

But soon it's joy stopped
And up the steps hopped
Yelling of a debt to me
Now it must set me free

Against my chest placed a fist
Took my head and my brow kissed
As it preformed the sorrow theft
The life of gray behind I left

Then the bones rose to the skies
And down the road beheld my eyes
A bright new tomorrow
We were free of sorrow
