Won't you smile?
I long to see you face bright and happy
Lit up, not stormy, your eyes flashing lightning.
Please
Won't you talk?
Give us that speech that seems to lurk on your tongue
Or even just a word, one that could sound loud, for all of us to hear
Please,
Won't you laugh?
Your laugh seems to fill the room
Your laughter rings through the house and makes it warm
Please,
Won't you look?
Look up and see the world in all it's marvelous colors
Don't just stare at the white walls, and not see
Please,
For me?
