On Silent Wings

Time doust fly on silent wings
Over Peasants or sleeping Kings
Disregarding pleasant talk
Or who might see, or hear, or walk-
In the distance moons rise and set
and people see, and people let
And at the last, each mind sings
As each is enveloped by Peace,
On silent wings
The wings make no shadow,
They do not flap or make a sound
They do not see, or hear, or feel,
No rest in sight
Forever onward they are bound.
