His Poison
When our lips met for the first time
I could taste the faint hint of poison on my lips
I grinned as I decided to wait
…Wait for the right time to give him mine
I waited too long
For now his poison is taking control
If I stop thinking about him
I become numb minutes later
His poison is taking me over
Its killing my feelings
And numbing my mind
As the poison creeps in
It turns my sweet dreams to nightmares
My night drags on
I wonder when the pain will die away
Like him, the poison is gone
But the pain is here
To STAY
