Riddle me, riddle me, tell me no lie.
Hint of the puzzle that dreams never die.
Lend me your reason, yet judgment do shed,
Never do utter that dreaming is dead.

A whispered conundrum that every mind fears,
Yet never is spoken lest someone else hears.
But every heart cringes, and every soul quakes,
When faced with the riddle that sweeps all the stakes.

You have but a moment, a second to speak,
The word that’s the key to the riddle you seek.
But do not look far, it’s close as your breath,
It dwells in the riddle, the answer is
