Under Fire (Soldier's Poem)
Our pride is under fire
We're burning where we stand
And every time we start to tire
It's the fear we understand
And in the moment they surround us
We don't think about hte death
Fighting for the lives around us
There's no time for our own breath
Every night we wake up sweating
From the dreams we can't ecape
Every shot we hear deflecting
Bullets faced when we're awake
And the girls back home are waiting
For the letters we can't send
Afraid that we're not coming home
For the life of our best friend
It's sweat, it's blood, it's ecstasy
this life behind a jumping gun
Moments alive just memories
Leading to the final one
We fight for all our brothers
Fight for the rush and for the blood
We fight for freedom and eachother
Till we're face down in the mud
We're under fire
