My Dream Grandpa

He was 5’ 10”, big, and strong
He was old but I loved him
Yes, he was my grandpa
Of course the one I should’ve had
The one that spent time with his true family
Not his new wife’s
He came to my hockey games
And we went hunting together
He shared many stories
He taught me his tricks on the ice
And best of all he believed,
That I would make it after all.
