The sparkling stars lay above my head in the deep, dark sky.
The sparkling stars lay above my head in the deep, dark sky.
Those stars look so permanent in that sky, like a birthmark.
The stars smiled down at me, shone down so bring it was like i'd seen heaven's light.
Even if my day was up, at that point, I saw what my life was waiting to see.
Yet as small as single grains of sand from a distance,
These stars taught me to appreciate life for what it is.
To count those stars in that sky would be like counting every hair on your head,
by the time you accomplish that, you'd sure as well be dead.
