That Kid.
"It all seems unfair!" I cried to my Father
"They're being so mean, so why should I bother
To try and live life, the same way you did?"
"Want some joy, after all I'm a kid!"
A kid who has knowledge
That they desperately need
A kid who is strong
Because she believes
A kid that's felt things
That they may never feel
I've felt your great love
I've tasted you're real
But I've had my mistakes
They're equivalent to a mountain
But I drink your forgiveness
That overflows on this fountain
I frequently sin
and ignore your correction
You show me the way
But I choose different direction
You tell me to love, to share, to forgive
You want me to embrace, the life that I live
Nothing is wrong
About you, I know
Can't wait till I see you
Cause your glory must glow
