Take A Step Back

Sometimes we have to take a step,
Take a step back,
To look at our lives and sort things out.
To not look at ourselves campared to others,
But comparing how things could be better,
and how they could be worse.
If you only think of the bad,
You end up wanting to die.
Look at the people you have,
Step back and see the people who listen and help,
The people still there when the smoke clears.
Everyone has people like that,
But often do not look and appreciate them.
So next time you are having a problem,
Take a step back and look at your friends.
