Raspberry
Delicate raspberry, so soft and so sweet
You rose with the sun that came from the east.
And when that pretty maiden comes dancing along,
She’ll stop beside you and sing you her song.
And when that free huntress prances through,
She’ll bring you sunshine and nurturing too.
And when that huntress must fleetingly take her leave,
She’ll be followed by one who will shed her colors to the trees.
And finally the Cold One may take your life,
Her cold kisses thrusting through your delicate skin like a knife.
And when the solstice comes to an end,
The four seasons, for you they will send,
All bringing something new,
For raspberry sweetness, for soft, red skin - all just for you.
