What Rain
As the rain it pitter patters,
Over the valley as it does not splatter.
Watching the overcast rolling in,
Making noise as it hits the can of tin.
Falling slowly, some at great speed,
For my yellow rubber boots I will need.
Once again for a few more weeks,
I'll come in wet and rosey red cheeks.
